Services for Residents
Is the city meeting the needs of your neighborhood?
The city needs to know.
Are your leaves cleared up in a timely manner?
Is your street in good condition?
How do you feel about the beach, beach passes, and parking permissions for residents?
I know that our city officials work hard to bring us the services we want. But I do think that they are frequently working blindly… not hearing from us to know what is going on out there. I’m running for Alderman to change this.
I’m on the Park Board, and am seeing the sausage getting made up close and personal. This is not like the corporate world; politics has its own set of oddities. But the city does listen to the people who speak up and tries to accommodate aggrieved neighbors.
While I have no complaints about my street, the garbage pickup, the handling of yard waste and leaves, I would like to see more coordination on sidewalks and pathways around town. I am involved with the Friends of Hillmoor, and would like to see a more public input before we develop it.
What does your alderman need to know?
Leaves raked to the street in anticipation of city collection.
The development of Hillmoor is being discussed through an Ad Hoc Committee.
The Ad Hoc Committee has had one meeting. More are planned. Here is a link to the agenda of the first.
